Describe a situation where you have to be polite
You should say:
What it was?
What did you do to be polite?
Why did you have to be polite?
And explain how you felt about it afterwards?

- Well, I would like to start by saying that politeness is one of the virtues to become successful.
- I have also inculcated this trait from my parents and my teachers.
- Honestly speaking, I try to be polite in every situation and with everyone.
- Here I would like to talk about one of the times when I had to demonstrate/show my politeness.
- One day, I was going to meet my friends by my motorbike/activa.
- When I reached half of the distance, there was a huge traffic jam.
- In fact, there was a long queue of cars. I still remember, cars were standing bumper to bumper and were moving at the snail’s pace.
- I think, it took almost half an hour to control that traffic jam.
- After it was controlled, everybody was trying to hurry and it was chaos all around.
- Suddenly, a car hit my motorbike and I fell down.
- I also got little injured.
- Then, an old person, maybe approximately of 50 years came out of the car and he lent a hand to lift me up.
- While I was cleaning my clothes and looking at my wounds, in the meantime, number of people gathered around.
- They were asking about the incident and were saying to report the police about this.
- Then, that old person started to apologise about his mistake. He was apologising again and again.
- I remembered an adage at that time, to err is human, to forgive is divine.
- I realised that mistakes happen from everybody but the most important thing is that a person realises one’s mistake.
- So that thought encouraged me to be polite with the old person and forgive him.
- After sometime, though I was injured a little bit, I was feeling satisfied that the old person realised his mistake and was forgiven.
- To cut the long story short, I can say, this was one of the experiences in which I showed my politeness.
